Dust

.

......................Dust

......................I thrust my hand through thick air
......................at words dropping from coldest lips.
......................I intend to eat my fill, as eagles do.

......................You're uncareful as honeybees,
......................I will sup on your spoils a time
......................then should turn them for my good.

......................Time to consume maddened plunder -
......................to be strong, swifter than slurred words.
......................Time:

......................to make gone all that was ever you . . . .
