Irresolution

Irresolution................................

In my soul, my thirst moves................................
like dreaming birds in the night watch.................................
I search for wisdoms perfect venture,................................
yet I know too that shades of gray................................
are as swans, balancing on cool waters flux.................................

My prudent wings enfold you,................................
determined to bosom your stirrings................................
but I watch you weaken, pondering solemnly my words................................
and know this of you:................................
druthering soft courses is only just a moment's appeasement................................

Wisdom then is just wordless after thoughts, anxious one.................................
Your face pales, glistening with rivulets of tears................................
and as I wait, my heart flutterings tighten with zeal.................................
But you know of my love,................................
you know I'll stay as the birds continue watching.................................
