Believe

Post by BC Williams on Sun 30 Jan 2011, 4:41 am

.

..........................

..............................................Under the silvery light we sail,
..............................................wondering what we will find.
..............................................Thunder is heard in the distant night,
..............................................but we will pay it no mind.

..............................................We search the sea that we sail upon,
..............................................looking for answers to find -
..............................................but nothing we find in this yawning sea,
..............................................can help us at this very time.

..............................................We've heard that wishes are granted for free
..............................................beneath this celestial light;
..............................................some say a star's to be wished upon -
......................................... ....but we believe more is in sight.

..............................................Lifting our faces toward that Light,
..............................................we open our hearts with this plea:
..............................................“Help us to find what You want us to find
..............................................and trust not what we cannot see.”
